“FACIALS – HEAVEN SENT”
Last weekend was pretty amazing! My sister and I had been talking about getting our facials done for a few weeks but because she was pregnant at the time, we decided to wait till after my baby.. I mean her baby, Maxwell was born. The last time I got a facial was for my birthday back in November of last year so you know your girl was ready. We stumbled on HoneybeeSkin in Atlanta,GA and immediately booked our appointments. When we arrived, we noticed we were actually going to be serviced at her home which was quite alright with me. I too have a home business. Melissa (owner) gave us a warm welcome. She asked us to remove our shoes at the door which again I was cool with because I do the same at home. Anyho chile, we felt right at home lol. Our appointments were back to back so we waited on each other.
Melissa accessed us individually. By the time, I was done filling out that sheet of paper, let’s just say she knew more than she needed to begin working on me. Her reaction after seeing my water intake was priceless smh looked like she wanted to grab a belt lol ugggghhh I hate the taste of water. She didn’t beat me but she did share with me the benefits of drinking water and how water is used to flush out toxins which is significant in clearing up the skin. Because I’m not drinking enough water, the toxins and bodily wastes will keep on accumulating in the body and become trapped under my skin. Once she had me under the light, she was able to detect I was dehydrated so I told her I’d do better the next time. This treatment was just what I needed especially after having the pink eye because my face felt heavy and dirty no matter how many times I washed it. The steaming was my favorite part.. and my least favorite was the trying to get the blackheads and whiteheads on my nose, ouch! She didn’t find anything other concerns so that was cool. At the end of the treatment, she gave us a list of recommended products to help start our daily skincare routine. She also shared the importance of taking good care of our skin especially being we’re not getting any younger. The product line she recommended was the Mario Bedescu brand. I have very oily skin so I need: an anti aging cleanser, toner, exfoliating hydration cream, moisturizer cream with spf-30 and a hydrating serum. Both my sister and I were very pleased with Melissa and plan to visit her more frequently. If you guys are in the Georgia, you guys should definitely check her out.
My sister and I don’t get to hang out much because she lives in east bubble yum so it was cool to spend time with her.
Don’t be selfish, share the info
